Main tasks

Organising and facilitating "Diversionary activities" for Goals clients, arranging group and one to one activities to help service users constructively use their leisure time. Also helping service users access education opportunities.
I have a particular interest in getting people to use the outdoors as a leisure activity and run a weekly rock climbing group.

What did I do before?

A degree in Geology, worked as a geography teacher for a while before getting a job working as a Duke of Edinburgh's award officer with the youth offending team in Newport. I moved to Drugaid when they started progress2work stayed in that position for 4 years before leaving to spend a year trevelling around the world. I then came back and started working as the diversionary activities coordinator. I am a qualified SCUBA Diving instructor and am working towards climbing qualifications.
